Logan B. King
Logan B. King, is a Partner of Paint Rock Royalty, LLC (“Paint Rock”). Prior to Paint Rock, Mr. King was the Director of Acquisitions at Clear Fork Royalty, LLC (“Clear Fork”). He began working at Clear Fork in 2011 and played major role in the company’s acquisitions strategy and helped create and implement the acquisitions processes for the company.
Logan graduated the University of Texas at Austin from in 2011. While there he earned a double major in Economics and Mandarin Chinese. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, attending church at All Saints Episcopal in Fort Worth, and spending time with his family and friends.
Douglas S. King
Mr. King has been active in the exploration business either operating, consulting or having ownership in over 280 wells. From 1987- 2009 (when he sold his operations) he operated wells under the name JANLO OPERATING .
During this time, he also had interests in and joint operations with several other operators such as Richard W. Thompson, Clayton Williams, TXO, Nichols Exploration, and others.
In 2010 he helped found the Clear Fork Mineral Funds and in 2016 joined Paint Rock Royalty and began to concentrate on mineral acquisitions.
In 2020 he became a non op working interest partner with Exxon/XTO in Pecos Co., TX where they currently have 28 wells drilled. In 2021 he had the opportunity to purchase the Mustang Creek lease in Johnson County, Texas from Duer Wagner Companies.
He is in the early stage of future development on the Mustang Creek Property.


Jason King
Mr. King is a partner at Paint Rock Royalty, LLC. He focuses his efforts on managing the acquisition team and acquiring mineral interests across the nation. He focuses his efforts on acquiring mineral and royalty interests in the Haynesville Shale in East Texas and Western Louisiana. Prior to Paint Rock, Mr. King started and ran EGC Inc., a national marketing firm with concentration in the Energy Deregulated. EGC, Inc. operated over sixty offices in all seventeen deregulated states. Mr. King started in the energy sector as a Strategic Partner with Direct Energy in 2009. Since then, he and EGC Inc. have held contracts with most major energy suppliers in the United States; including Spark Energy, Genie Retail, Clearview, GDF Suez, and Entrust.
He graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas in 2005 with a BBA with an emphasis in Accounting. He began his career as a tax accountant for Weaver and Tidwell, before deciding to start his own company. He was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising and attending sporting events.
Christopher Costanza
Mr. Costanza serves as an Acquisition Specialist at Paint Rock Royalty, LLC and brings over 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career in West Texas after graduating from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Business and obtaining a Certification in Petroleum Land Management from Texas Christian University. Mr. Costanza has primarily focused on the Permian Basin, collaborating with major brokerages including Holland Land Services, LLC and Exploration Land Services, LLC. His expertise lies in educating mineral owners and facilitating the sale of mineral rights across multiple basins.
A Fort Worth native, Mr. Costanza has been involved in the oil and gas sector from an early age. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling. In his personal time, Mr. Costanza values spending quality time with family and friends.


Mason Dever
Mason Dever is a lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Texas, where he has built strong community ties and an extensive network throughout the region and beyond. As a key member of the Paint Rock team, Mason brings deep industry knowledge and a strong understanding of the oil and gas market—both in Texas and across the country.
Before entering the oil and gas sector, Mason spent several years in the service industry, where he developed exceptional communication and customer service skills. Which enabled him to start his own small business that he continues to run today. He later transitioned into real estate, working with both residential and commercial properties. This experience sharpened his ability to manage complex deals and build long-lasting client relationships—skills that continue to serve him well in the mineral acquisition space.
Mason is known for his integrity, professionalism, and people-first approach to business. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and proud father of two boys. When he’s not with family, you can likely find him enjoying a round of golf at a nearby course.
Jesse Duban
Jesse Duban is a mineral acquisitions professional with a background rooted in social media and business management. As proud Texas Tech graduate, she earned a degree in Business Management, which laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial approach in the oil and gas industry. Her unique blend of digital communication skills and strategic deal-making allows her to connect with landowners and stakeholders in a transparent, results-driven way.
Outside of work, she is passionate about traveling, exploring new places, and unwinding with video games — always looking for the next challenge, whether it’s in business or on the controller.


Adam Petty
Adam is a Fort Worth native with a deep-rooted background in the oil and gas industry. After graduating from Texas A&M, he jumped straight into the energy sector, starting as a landman before moving into field operations, including hydraulic fracturing work. He eventually returned to the land side, where he now focuses on research and acquisitions.
Adam brings a steady, calm presence to every deal while backing it up with straightforward, fact-based insight. His broad experience across multiple facets of the energy world makes him an invaluable resource—not just for his clients, but also for the team around him.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with his daughter exploring the many attractions across DFW. He’s also an avid golfer and is always on the hunt for new courses to play.
Cape Stripling
Cape Stripling is a Fort Worth native with deep roots in the region. Today, Cape focuses primarily on the oil and gas industry, where his strong network, market knowledge, and negotiation skills have made him a trusted name in mineral and royalty transactions across Texas and beyond.
Before shifting full-time into energy, Cape spent over a decade selling farm and ranch properties throughout the state. That experience honed his ability to navigate complex deals and build lasting relationships—skills that continue to serve him well in oil and gas.
Raised in a family deeply involved in the industry, Cape has been immersed in the oil and gas world since a young age. He brings both personal familiarity and professional expertise to every conversation.
Outside of business, Cape is an avid outdoorsman and passionate conservationist. He’s actively involved with organizations such as the Fort Worth chapters of Stewards of the Wild and Delta Waterfowl. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him spending time with friends, family, or out in the field.


Wayne Saddler
Mr. Saddler serves as the Acquisitions Sales Manager at Paint Rock Royalty LLC, where he focuses on sourcing and acquiring mineral and royalty interest across the Haynesville shale in east Texas and western Louisiana, as well as the Appalachian Basin. He brings a strong blend of technical field experience and business acumen to his role, supporting the company’s mission to build a high quality portfolio of oil and gas assets.
Before joining Paint Rock, Mr. Saddler spent several years working in field operations within the oil and gas industry. He began his career on drilling rigs, advancing through multiple positions and gaining firsthand knowledge of drilling processes and wellsite operations. He later transitioned to flowback where he was responsible for managing post completion well performance. His field career culminated as a Snubbing Unit Supervisor, where he led high pressure well interventions on live wells in Pennsylvania and North Dakota.
As a native of Fort Worth, Texas, Mr. Saddler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas Christian University, where he competed as a full scholarship athlete in Track and field.
In his personal time, he enjoys golfing, playing the guitar, connecting with others through networking events and serving in his local community at Fellowship Church.
Teresa Teague
Teresa Teague is the Operations Manager at C.L. Paint Rock Royalty, where she applies her extensive experience in administrative support, time management, and mineral and royalty acquisition. With a career spanning over two decades in diverse industries like oil and gas and legal services, Teresa is highly skilled and proficient in her role.
Her expertise includes royalty payments, title work, economic analysis, regulatory applications, and office management. Teresa has been instrumental in developing and expanding the mineral and royalty acquisition business across numerous states, including Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Teresa has also completed specialized training courses, such as Fundamentals for the Division Order Analyst and Critical Title Issues for the Land Professionals.
Outside of her professional life, Teresa enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her family.
